MoD makes 4,100 more redundancies in military
The Ministry of Defence is making 4,100 more service personnel redundant today in the latest round of job cuts in the military.
Around 2,900 Army posts will be lost, along with 900 from the RAF and 300 from the Royal Navy. The cuts are part of a cost reduction programme which will see 29,000 military roles go by 2015, as defence chiefs struggle to close a £38 billion deficit in the armed forces budget...PM
